With a commendable 4.5-star rating, this resort captures the essence of a quiet, small-scale trailer park where natural beauty meets heartfelt hospitality.

Guests frequently praise the warm and attentive nature of the hosts, Misha and Steve, whose genuine welcomes and thoughtful guidance create an immediate sense of belonging. Their dedication to making each stay memorable is reflected in well-organized community activities, such as 4th of July celebrations, and their readiness to assist with any inquiry, enhancing the overall experience.

The resort’s ambiance is defined by shaded, spacious sites nestled among trees, offering a rustic charm with grass and dirt grounds that appeal to those wanting a closer connection to nature. Families find the location especially kid-friendly, with children enjoying swimming and fishing off the dock, embedding fond memories in the pure, fresh air. Anglers will appreciate the consistently rewarding fishing opportunities, a highlight that adds authentic local flavor to stays here.

While Island View Trailer Resort lacks certain modern amenities such as a pool, restaurant, or fitness center, it compensates with free Wi-Fi and parking, supporting both convenience and connectivity. The simplicity of this lakeside haven encourages visitors to engage more deeply with the surrounding landscape and nearby attractions, such as local shops and The Pantry, which contributes to the holistic travel experience.

Proximity to forest service campgrounds with additional dog-friendly beaches further expands options for outdoor enthusiasts.

Island View Trailer Resort, with its blend of natural serenity, warm human connections, and thoughtfully curated activities, embodies a heartfelt escape from the bustle of everyday life. It resonates profoundly with visitors looking for an authentic, laid-back getaway where the beauty of the lake and the kindness of its caretakers leave a lasting impression.

The owners here were so delightful! They welcomed us with a warm smile and handshake, introducing themselves and guiding us to our site. They had activities for the 4th of July and made sure we knew where to go for the fire works. Any questions we had they graciously helped us with and our site was spacious and shaded. They had 1 washer and 2 driers, but the price was more affordable than I've had at any other rv park (and we have been to hundreds as we've traveled fulltime in our rv for the last 3.5 years) The perfect place to celebrate the 4th! Thank you so much!

This will be our 5th year staying with Misha and Steve. Superb hosts and we've never been disappointed. Great people, weather, close to shops and The Pantry for treats! Kids spend all day at the dock swimming and fishing is really great as well. We've caught fish every year.

What a wonderful hidden gem on the lake. Small, quiet park. Sites are a little rough as they are all grass and dirt but I love that they're in the trees. Lots of full timers here but everyone is very nice. We have really enjoyed our stay here. The owners are super nice and helpful.

We did enjoy our time there however, the camp showers were not in operation and we had a little trouble finding where the dog area was. We think we found it, but it was a little over grown. The good news is we weren’t far from a forest service campground that has a dog beach! Really enjoyed our trip there and the people we met. Campground hosts were excellent and helped with my minor water issue with my rv. I would go back again.
